The First Furniture Has Arrived!

The beginning of March proved difficult for all of us as we were hit simultaneously with a viral and bacterial infection. We were bedridden for nearly two weeks with high fevers – worse than our bouts with Covid! Such is life in Nepal where health risks seem to be waiting at every turn. But finally, after getting back on our feet, we continued our work and made good progress. We finally got our first batch of furniture delivered, which was such an exciting moment. As we have been building this cafe, we really struggled with it not quite feeling like cafe because of our lack of furniture. The first batch arrived and we were thrilled to see the fruit of our designs before our eyes.
